Storage and accounts
Expenses, budgets, history and settings are stored in this browser's local storage. There are no hosted accounts or cross-device sync. Anyone using this browser profile can access its data.
Privacy
Receipt files are read in your browser. Expense data stays in this browser's local storage. Backups and exports are downloaded to your device.
Receipt OCR and drafts
OCR runs in your browser when you select Extract draft. The hosted static version has no AI service, so the review fields are left for you to complete manually. Manual expense entry is available in the Expenses section.

Photos need decent light and focus; PDFs are read from their first 3 pages. You can always fill the review form in manually — nothing is saved until you confirm.
